National Police Headquarters Attacked
A person opened fire at a guard station of the Indonesian National Police (POLRI) Headquarters in Jakarta. Several amateur video recordings of the incident spread earlier this afternoon. The shooter was quickly neutralized. It isn’t clear whether anyone, other than the suspected terrorist, was wounded or killed.
Prabowo & the National Vaccination Program
The Research Director of SMRC Deni Irvan, in a press release on Monday (March 29), revealed that 73.3 percent of the respondents of its most recent survey would participate in the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination program if the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto is vaccinated. The said survey is related to a previous survey conducted by polling agency Indikator Politik Indonesia (IPI). It found a significant percentage of Prabowo’s supporters in the 2019 presidential election rejecting vaccination.
