On March 29, 2021, the Chairman of Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that the graft case related to the development of Hambalang Sport Complex was no longer relevant as all guilty actors had been punished. AHY, who is also the eldest son of former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (AHY), made said statement after the other Democratic Party led by Moeldoko urged the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to revisit the Hambalang case and to investigate the alleged involvement of AHY’s younger brother Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono a.k.a. Ibas.
