Lt. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo, who is known very close to Jokowi, the predecessor of President Prabowo Subianto, has been appointed as the new secretary general of the Defense Ministry. Tri replaces Vice Air Marshal Donny Ermawan Taufanto, who is now the Vice Minister of Defense.
