The new Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has been targeting members of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s ruling coalition and those close to the coalition. Recall that civil society and the opposition group doubted the new KPK since they believed that the revised KPK Law No. 19/2019 and the election of Firli Bahuri as the new KPK chief had eliminated the objectivity of the anti-graft body.
