Apexindo Pratama Duta (APEX) has obtained Rp105.47 billion contract value for drilling 3 onshore wells in Baturaden, Central Java. The contract is awarded by PT Haliburton Longging Services Indonesia. Per March 2017, APEX operated 7 onshore rigs and 7 offshore rigs. APEX booked net profit of US$2.26 million in the first quarter (Q1) this year, against loss US$2.88 million in the same period last year. But sales and revenue dropped 72% to US$12.09 million from previous US$43.4 million. APEX booked other income of US$12 million, compared to US$3.95 million only in Q1 last year.
