Djamin, a resident of Bambu Apus in Cipayung, East Jajakarta was one of few dare to fight ownership over a land against Soeharto-controlled foundation Harapan Kita (YHK) and Indonesian government (minister of defense, military commander, and Army Chief of Staff). He brought the heavyweights up to the Supreme Court level.
