But many may not know that the Government also owns the vast expanse of land surrounding the Senayan Sports Complex. The Senayan Complex at large encompasses more than 2.7 million square meters. The area was acquired by the Government in the early 1960s specifically for the purpose of holding the 1962 ASEAN Games in Jakarta.
