PTS, general manager corporate affairs of Musim Mas, one of the largest processors of crude palm oil (CPO) into cooking oil, oleochemicals, and biodiesel, has recently been named suspect in the so-called ‘cooking oil mafia’ case. Like two other groups implicated in the case, Permata Hijau and Wilmar International, Musim Mas could also be named ‘corporate suspect’ as hinted by Attorney General.

Stanley Ma, assistant to director for corporate affairs at Permata Hijau Group, has been named suspect by Attorney General’s Office (AGO) in the so-called ‘cooking oil mafia’ scandal. Alongside Wilmar and Musim Mas, the group might also be named corporate suspect in the case. This is probably the third major case implicating Permata Hijau Group (PHG) since 2009.

Dahlia Pangjaya, wife of the late Harsono Pangjaya, founder of Unifam Group has on Sunday (Apr 10) passed away at 75 years old. She leaves behind seven children, 13 grandchildren, and a business group with interest mainly in food & beverages.

Sunson Group has officially left the banking business with divestment of the remaining 35% shares in Bank Bisnis (BBSI) to financial technology company PT Finnacel Technology (Kredivo) at undisclosed consideration. The acquisition lifted Kredivo’s ownership from 40% to 75%. 

Roy Rahardja Dharmajaya, father in law of Angela Tanoesoedijo, vice minister of tourism & creative economy, has passed away at 62 years old. Roy is director of PT Cahaya Merah Delima, member of the Lion Star Group, one of the largest manufacturers of plastic housewares in the country.

Suharso Monoarfa, minister of national development planning and chairman of Islamic party PPP (United Development Party), has reportedly filed a divorce proceeding against his wife Nurhayati, who is also lawmaker from PPP. 

Plantation company PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk is offering 2.19 billion shares at Rp520 to Rp600 per share to raise a maximum of Rp1.3 trillion. Representing 15% of the total issued shares after the initial public offering (IPO), Teladan Prima is valued a maximum Rp8.7 trillion, below the established player London Sumatra Plantation/LSIP (Rp9.86 trillion).

Businessman Johnny Santoso, founder and chairman of PT Indovickers Furnitama, PT Dharma Daya Lestari, and PT Karunia Mandiri Sejati, has passed away in Jakarta on Monday at 88 years old. Johnny leaves behind a wife, two sons, and four grandchildren.
