Too Relaxed, Too Slow
In a taped interview with Kompas’ Aiman Wicaksono, the Head of Indonesia’s COVID-19 Response Task Force, Lieutenant General Doni Monardo (who is also the Chief of Indonesia’s Disaster Mitigation Agency, or BNPB) confirmed that Indonesia would not impose a lockdown. In a show of defiance, however, the Mayor of the City of Tegal, Central Java, has blocked access to and out of the city, leaving the national road as the only entry/exit point.
Angry Amien
The founder of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Amien Rais still has not commented on his exclusion from the Party’s central executive board (DPP). His loyalists and supporters, however, continue to urge Amien to establish PAN Reformasi, a new political party, as a show of disapproval to PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan.

PAN’s New Lineup
