China’s foreign exchange reserves rose to USD 3.117 trillion in November 2022, up from USD 3.052 trillion in the previous month and above market expectations of USD 3.1 trillion. It was the second straight month of increase in forex reserves, as the US dollar fell against other major currencies. Meanwhile, the value of the gold reserves surged to USD 111.65 billion at the end of November from USD 102.67 billion at the end of October.
