President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo ordered the chief of the National Police (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to launch investigation into the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, East Java that killed 131 supporters. The President also ordered the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) to stop Liga 1 matches until the evaluation and investigation have been concluded.
