The competition between Arsjad Rasjid MP, CEO of Indika Energy (INDY), and Anindya Bakrie, CEO of Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR), is heating up ahead of the chairmanship congress (Munas) of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia). KADIN Indonesia is expected to hold its chairmanship race in Bali starting June 2. Business titans and major political parties would be rallying behind the competitors. Many believe that the chairmanship race is a part of the political battle ahead of the 2024 elections.
