The Government and the House of Representatives (DPR) have agreed to postpone the 2020 simultaneous regional elections, following the Coronavirus pandemic. How about the annual mass exodus (locally known as mudik) of Idul Fitri holiday and the 2020 National Games (PON)? President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, meanwhile, talked about the possibility of implementing large-scale social restrictions coupled with the so-called civil emergency (locally known as Darurat Sipil) policies.
