After suffering loss since 2015, Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) booked profit attributable to equity of Rp853 billion in 2019, against loss of Rp1.26 trillion in 2018, mainly supported by the share in net profit of associates and jointly controlled entities, which reached Rp759 billion, compared to Rp173 billion only in 2018. The debt restructuring in the past two years and cost efficiency helped BNBR to book profit last year.
