Loans for Chandra Asri & Dharma Satya

Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI), and BNP Paribas (Japan) have on Monday (Dec 17) signed loan facilities to finance construction of new polyethylene (PE) resin plant in Banten province. In the meantime, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) provided Rp1.23 trillion of loan facilities to subsidiaries of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG).

November Trade Deficit

Indonesia recorded trade deficit of US$2.05 billion last month, mainly due to huge US$1.47 billion deficit in oil and gas sector. High deficit in oil and gas was attributable to substantially higher import volume of fuel ahead of long holidays this month and early January 2019. Market participants responded negatively with 1.22% fall of composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Monday (Dec 17).
