Shares of Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) Syariah (BTPS) jumped 49.7% to Rp1460 per share in its trading debut today. Its IPO price was Rp975. The Bank offered 770 million shares through the initial public offering (IPO), representing 10% of its total issued and paid-up capital. But the offering was over-subsribed by 1.7 times (1.31 billion shares). BTPN Syariah raised Rp751.1 billion from IPO and market capitalization of Rp7.43 trillion. Per March of 2018, BTPN Syariah has assets of Rp9.5 trillion and third party funds of Rp6.7 trillion. Its non performing financing (NPF) was 1.67%.
