Plantation firm Austindo Nusantara (ANJT) suffered net loss of Rp16.3 billion in the first quarter (Q1) ended March 31, 2018, against profit of Rp319 billion in the same period of last year. Revenue declined 11% to Rp420 billion from previous Rp464.5 billion.
ANJT said its sales of crude palm oil (CPO) increased 1.3% to 42,833 metric tons (MT) while sales of palm kernel (PK) jumped 44.3% to 11,450 MT. Its average selling price of CPO declined to US$581/mt from earlier US$662. PK average selling price fell to US$499 from previous US$617.
