State-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) booked net profit of Rp1.71 trillion in 2017, jumped 67.6% from 2016. Revenues increased 24% to Rp17.93 trillion from previous Rp14.46 trillion. While operating expenses rose slightly to Rp13.32 trillion from earlier Rp10.61 trillion. KAI’s cash reached Rp3.89 trillion.
