Aberdeen Invests 45.5% in Indonesian Consumers Assets

Aberdeen Indonesia Fund, Inc., a closed-end equity fund, invested 45.5% of its total portfolio assets in consumers segment in Indonesia as of February 28, 2018. On February 28, 2018, the Fund’s net assets amounted to US$78.1 million and the Fund’s NAV per share was $8.44.

Aberdeen Indonesia invested 25.8% of net assets in consumer staples and 19.7% in consumer discretionary. It also invested 19% of net assets in financials, telecommunication 11.4%, materials 9.1%, energy 5.3%, health care 4.6%, industrials 3.6%, and cash 1.6%.

The Fund’s ten largest equity holdings as of Februay 28, 2018, representing 57% of net assets, were Bank Central Asia 11.7%, Telekomunikasi Indonesia 8.1%, Indocement 7%, Unilever Indonesia 5.3%, HM Sampoerna 4.9%, Bank Permata 3.5%, Astra International 3.4%, and Mandom Indonesia 3.4%.
