Passenger traffic at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport reached 63 million in 2017, up by 8% from 58.2 million in 2016. Passenger traffic growth was also facilitated by the completion of Terminal 3, as well as renovations at Terminals 1 and 2. Further expansion of Soekarno-Hatta Airport capacity is still required, as passenger traffic is projected to rise to over 100 million by 2025.
