Securities firm Panin Sekuritas (PANS) mulls to change its core business, from securities brokerage and underwriting to investment, business consulting, and management. This means for the restructuring of business. The securities brokerage and underwriting businesses will be handled by PANS’ subsidiary. PANS booked net profit of Rp88 billion in Q1 this year, grew by 14.3% from Rp77 billion in Q1 last year. Revenues rose 8% to Rp147 billion. Brokerage commissions jumped 50% to Rp18 billion while income from investment management services declined 18.6% to Rp61.6 billion.
