Asian markets faced a testing time on Monday after Wall Street suffered its worst starting week in history and doubts over Beijing’s policy choices sent investors into the arms of the safe-haven yen and sovereign bonds, Reuters reported. Nymex’s crude oil dropped further 2.37% to US$32.48 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold declined 0.1% to US$1,106.70 per ounce.
