In recent years, the 24-hour convenience stores have grown to become a new hangout place for young Indonesians. What’s interesting is that this has not been a phenomenon exclusive to Jakarta. You can find it happening in Bali, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta. The youth would socialize over ice coffees, or even beers.
