Indonesian youth have popularized a break-up phrase. In the heat of intense romantic dispute, a lover would say to the other, “Lo, gue, end!” The phrase basically translates to “you and I, we’re over!” And that’s pretty much what Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama said to the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) this morning. It’s over.
