More police-military generals, both in active duty and retirees, have been accommodated in the administration of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. Recently, three police generals took the oath for strategic positions at the Law & Human Rights Ministry. This accommodative policy is likely to draw divisive responses from the public.

The Chairman of Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), who is also the eldest son of former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), recently posted a letter from his daughter to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
