Anies & KPK’s Investigation into Formula E

The Jakarta city administration and the city’s regional company PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) led by Bambang Widjojanto have on Tuesday (Nov. 9) delivered a document regarding the Formula E, the flagship project of the Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The anti-graft agency has just launched an investigation into the Formula E project with the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

Prabowo on Jokowi’s & Megawati’s Blessing

The Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto built the Tugu Api Semangat Indonesia (the monument of Indonesia’s fire of spirit) in the Defense Ministry’s compound only five months after he built the statue of the first President Soekarno a.k.a Bung Karno at the same place. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and the fifth President Megawati Soekarnoputri, who is also the chairperson of the ruling party PDIP, inaugurated the said monument and statue, respectively. Some believe that it is a part of Prabowo’s way to win the heart of Jokowi and Megawati and secure their blessing ahead of the 2024 presidential race.

A day earlier, the same day President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo named Andika his military commander nominee, a volunteer group called the Poros Prabowo-Puan (Prabowo-Puan Axis) declared its endorsement of Prabowo and Puan Maharani as a pair to run in the 2024 presidential race.
