Prabowo’s Response
The Chairman of Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto denied that the Chairman of Nasdem Party Surya Paloh asked the former not to run in the upcoming 2024 race because of his age. Prabowo’s denial was delivered by his spokesperson Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak and the Daily Chairman of Gerindra Party Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

Important Update on the Fatal Police Shooting
The Chief of the National Police (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo decided to deactivate Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo, the head of the Police’s Internal Affairs Division (Kadiv Propam POLRI), from his position. General Sigit also assigned the Police Vice Chief (Wakapolri) Comr. Gen. Gatot Eddy Pramono as the caretaker of the Kadiv Propam.

The key leader of Nasdem Party, Zulfan Lindan, revealed a message from his party chairman Surya Paloh to the Chairman of Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto during their latest meeting. According to Zulfan, Paloh asked Prabowo not to run in the upcoming 2024 president race and to make way for the younger generation.
