A week after her meeting with the chairman of Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, Puan Maharani is expected to meet with the chairmen of two other major parties. Puan, who is the daughter of PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri, will meet with Airlangga Hartarto, the chairman of Golkar Party, and Prabowo Subianto, the chairman of Gerindra Party, this weekend.

The Missing Motive

Police Inspector General (Insp. Gen.) Ferdy Sambo, former chief of the National Police’s Internal Affairs Division (Propam POLRI), has been dishonorably discharged from the police corps after hours of ethics trial that ended on Friday morning (Aug 26). Political Parties & 2024 Race

The General Election Commission (KPU) has closed the registration of political parties seeking to participate in the 2024 legislative election. Out of 40 political parties registered at the KPU, 24 parties passed the first verification and thus will undergo the administrative and factual verifications. The other 16 parties were eliminated due to lack of dossiers, and failed to enter the 2024 election.
