Hary Tanoesoedibjo, controlling owner of MNC Group, has recently expressed his disappointment to the government’s analog switch-off (ASO) policy. Coordinating minister for politics, law, security & human rights Mahfud MD, however, dismissed Hary’s allegation related to constitutionality of the policy.

Apparently, some people are still supporting the idea of term extension for Military Commander (Panglima TNI) General Andika Perkasa, who has a month left on active duty before entering his mandatory retirement age. Prabowo Subianto won the majority of votes in the so-called Musyawarah Rakyat (Musra), a presidential convention held by the volunteer groups of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, in Palembang, South Sumatera. Trailing behind him was Ganjar Pranowo with a razor-thin margin.

Ganjar Pranowo warned his supporters to keep the situation conducive ahead of the 2024 political year. The Governor doesn’t want his supporters to create frictions between him and his own political party, PDIP, as well as between President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and PDIP.

Prabowo Subianto and Muhaimin Iskandar recently appeared together in an event held in Senayan, Central Jakarta by PKB, an Islamic party strongly affiliated with the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Both figures even met President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo in a different occasion. Despite that, Prabowo and Imin have not yet declared themselves as presidential pair. Why?
