Those Opposing Perppu on Job Creation

It’s not surprising to see the opposition parties reject the new Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2022 on Job Creation issued by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. What’s worth highlighting more is a harsh criticism over the Perppu from law expert and former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK), Jimly Asshiddiqie. Jimly, who is now a member of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD), talked about a potential impeachment of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo due to the issuance of the Perppu.

The Indikator Politik Indonesia has released the results of its latest electability survey on Wednesday (Jan 4). PKS, like everyone else, is waiting for Megawati’s decision regarding PDIP’s presidential candidate for 2024 race.
