Latest Polls: Ganjar Still Frontrunner
The Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, who is also a politician from the ruling party PDIP, is still leading the polls. The latest surveys from Saiful Mujani Research & Consulting (SMRC) and Indobarometer showed that Ganjar surpassed Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan with significant margin.

It is conducted while the Central Government and the House of Representatives (DPR) are working together to deliberate the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) on the General Election (Pemilu) into a new law that will accommodate the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous elections in four new Papua provinces.
