The Chief of the National Police (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo publicly apologized for the Telegram Letter No. ST/750/IV/HUM.3.4.5./2021 that he signed on April 5. The Letter prohibited media outlets from broadcasting footages that show police officers behaving arrogantly or violently. General Sigit later issued Telegram Letter No. ST/759/IV/HUM.3.4.5./2021 to revoke the controversial Letter.
