After long debates and postponements, the House of Representatives (DPR) announced the 2021 National Legislation Program (Prolegnas) in its plenary session held on Tuesday (March 23). The DPR decided to exclude the bill on the revision of the Election Law No. 7/2017, and also the bill on the revision of the Electronic Transactions Law (ITE) No. 11/2008. This is a victory for President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, who previously ordered all members of his ruling coalition to stop revising the Election Law.
