State-owned companies, PT Pertamina and PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) agreed to form a joint venture (JV) in the electricity business based on gas, LNG and renewable energy. The agreement was carried out by their respective subsidiaries, namely PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI) and PT Indonesia Power (PI). That two sides also agreed on cooperation in the field of operation & maintenance as well as an independent power producer based on gas, LNG and new renewable energy.
