By now it’s clear that Prabowo Subianto’s camp is trying to keep Islamic political circle at play even after the 2019 race. Recently, as we’ve reported before, a number of hardline clerics supporting Prabowo in the race held a so-called Ijtima Ulama 3 gathering. The outcome of the gathering is a suggestion for Prabowo’s camp to take action over fraud allegations and to ask for the disqualification of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo from the 2019 race.
