Jusuf Kalla will soon end his term as the Vice President (VP) of the Republic. He is no longer President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s running mate. He’s only the chief adviser of the President’s national campaign team (TKN). With such dramatic changes, some wonder whether Kalla still has significant influence in this year’s presidential race.
