Bank BNP Paribas Reports 25% Profit Decline in Q1

Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia booked net profit of Rp80.16 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of this year, declined 25% from Rp107.5 billion in the same period of last year. Net interest income fell 4.5% to Rp87 billion. Operating profit declined 25% to Rp106.9 billion. The Bank’s assets reached Rp18 trillion. Its lending fell 21% to Rp6.9 trillion from previous Rp8.76 trillion. The Bank’s CAR was 24.98% and LDR stood at 117.96%.
