Berau Coal Energy (BRAU), a company controlled by Bumi Plc, gains 1.3% Friday morning in Jakarta to Rp156. The stock has collapsed 74% since April 2012. The company generated net profit of US$134 million last year, but then flipped to net loss of US$39.4 million in the first half of 2012, among others due to impairment of funds placed at Chateau Asean Fund.
