Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama is facing the threat of impeachment. Members of Jakarta’s Regional Representative Council (DPRD DKI) is investigating the Governor for allegedly violating the law—by sending the Ministry of Home Affairs Ahok’s own version of Jakarta’s 2015 budget (APBD) for approval and review, instead of the 2015 APBD draft that the DPRD DKI had approved.
