Tension arises again within the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, following the maneuver to topple KH Yahya Cholil Staquf a.k.a Gus Yahya, the chairman of the NU’s Central Board (PBNU), through the Muktamar Luar Biasa (MLB) or the extraordinary chairmanship congress.
