Plantation firm Mahkota Group (MGRO), through PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari (MUL), purchased more shares in PT Karya Pratama Niagajaya (KPN), lifting its ownership to 52% from previous 40%. MGRO, accordingly, is the controlling shareholder for KPN, which has palm mill in Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatera with production capacity of 45 tons per day.
