Economist Faisal Basri has passed away on Thursday (Sep. 5) morning at 65 years old due to heart attack. Before the passing, Faisal received a medical treatment at the Mayapada Hospital in Kuningan, South Jakarta after he got a heart attack on Monday (Sep. 2). His remains have been buried on the same day at the Menteng Pulo Public Cemetery (TPU) in South Jakarta.

The sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), who is also the supreme leader of Democratic Party, talked about the state of relationship between the outgoing President Jokowi and President-elect Prabowo Subianto during his speech at the Gala Dinner of Bloomberg CEO Forum in Jakarta on Wednesday (Sep. 4).
