The drama regarding the implementing regulations for the 2024 simultaneous Regional Leaders Elections is finally over, hopefully, after the amendment to the General Elections Commission Regulation (PKPU) No. 8/2024 concerning the nomination of regional leaders at all levels was finally agreed upon on Aug. 25, 2024. What is now in effect is PKPU No. 10/2024.
