Apart from pointing to Prabowo Subianto’s lead in the 2024 presidential race by a big margin, the major pollsters also found a possibility that Prabowo’s party, Gerindra, might beat the ruling party PDIP in the 2024 legislative election. If Gerindra wins the legislative election, the Party will claim the speaker position at the House of Representatives (DPR) and a good chance to secure the speaker position at the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) as well.
