After facing several different lawsuits of Suspension of Debt Payment (PKPU) at the Commercial Court of the Central Jakarta District Court within the past two years and eventually managed to resolve the process with peace, PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) fave a different problem: corruption investigation. The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) announced the investigation and inquisition several months ago and named so many suspects soon after. This week, the AGO named the eighth suspect in the case, who is a director of a private company but also reportedly a former official of Waskita Beton. What a mess.
