Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno won the majority support from the supporters of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo in a presidential convention called Musyarawah Rakyat (Musra) held in Pekanbaru, Riau province. In a previous convention in Bandung, West Java, Sandi also got the most support after President Jokowi. The convention is worth highlighting to help us understand the preference of the President’s supporters ahead of 2024 race.

Among those arrested at the time was then Regent of Kolaka Timur, Andi Merya Nur (NasDem).
