Widened Loss of GoTo in First Half

GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO), the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia, suffered loss attributable to owners of Rp13.64 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2022, widened from Rp6.28 trillion in the corresponding period of 2021. Actually revenue jumped 79% year on year to Rp3.39 trillion, but cost of revenues also jumped 65.8% y/y to Rp2.47 trillion.

Bukit Asam’s Renewable Energy Drive

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has currently issued the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) for 2021-2030. It sets out a renewable energy target of 51.6% by 2030, climbed from 30% target in the previous RUPTL released in 2019. The fossil energy, meanwhile, is lower at 48%.
