Nickel miners in the first half (3)

We have seen more major business groups entering nickel industry in the first half to include Bakrie Group, Adaro Group/Merdeka Copper, and Indika Group. Late last month, for example, Bakrie Group’s PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Tambang Nikel Sulteng (TNS) for nickel ore supply.

Covid hasn’t gone away, but hospitals got hit in the first half

Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet. New cases increased again recently, but people tend to stay away from hospitalization. Most hospital chains reported substantial decline of net profit in the first half of 2022, among others due to downfall of revenues from inpatient services.
