The Secretary General of the ruling party PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto, mentioned four names of the Party’s cadres that would potentially be endorsed in the 2024 presidential race. Two of them are the Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and House Speaker Puan Maharani, also known as the daughter of PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Police Insp. Gen. Ferdy Sambo, former chief of the National Police’s Internal Affairs Division (Kadiv Propam POLRI), has been named suspect in the murder case of his own adjutant, Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat, or widely known as Brigadier J.
