Recently, on Thursday (July 7), the Constitutional Court (MK) rejected a judicial review (JR) request over the Regional Election Law (UU Pilkada) No. 10/2016, in which the plaintiffs demanded for an extension of Anies Baswedan’s term as Jakarta governor until 2024. On the same day, the Court also rejected another attempt at eliminating presidential threshold that was stipulated in the Election Law (UU Pemilu) No. 7/2017.To subscribe please click here
